VV is the largest and most experienced
pipeline contractor in Hungary and the
Central European Region. The company was
founded in 1954 for building the Hungarian
high pressure oil and gas transmission pipeline
network.
Besides domestic work, significant projects were
completed by KVV in partnership with local and/
or international companies in abroad countries
too (Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Germany, Croatia,
Belarus, Poland, Georgia/FSU, Slovenia and
Romania).
KVV offers the following services to pipeline
operators and other clients:

Installation of high pressure hydrocarbon
transmission cross-country pipelines and
stations (up to 56 in. dia.).

Diagnostical tests and rehabilitation of pipeline.
F
Installation and maintenance of cathodic
corrosion protection systems.
F
Installation of telecommunication cable
networks.
F
Diagnostical tests, rehabilitation, repair,
construction and cleaning of storage tanks.
F
Destructive and non-destructive material tests in
accredited laboratory.
KVV is capable of installing 200 km large
diameter pipeline annually, working simultaneously
on three to four projects with the deployment of its
own construction management staff supplemented
with the necessary labour forces and the company’s
own, well maintained construction equipment and
machines.
The company’s key strength is the mechanised
welding of large diameter pipelines, which
eventuates excellent production rates and welding
quality. Another strength is lowering-in operations
with tie-in welding works.
The established and properly operated integrated
management system (QMS/EMS/OHS) ensures the
fulfilment of requirements of the quality assurance,
environmental protection and occupational health
and safety during the realisation of administrative
and project implementation processes of the
company.
