Recently completed or ongoing oil and gas pipeline
projects:
LCS has attested the capability of its cable
cranes constructing pipelines in steep areas
exceeding 70°, in rocky sectors (e.g. at the East
West Pipeline, India) on sandy surfaces, in the
middle of the rainforest, in cold and snowy
regions as well as during the rain period in the
tropics. The systems permit an extension of the
working period – work can be performed in the
winter time and rainy season.
LCS has realised diverse pipeline projects all
over the world, solving a variety of transportation
challenges – from the rain forest in Latin America
(OCP Pipeline, Ecuador) to pipelines in desert-like
terrain (ADCOP Pipeline, Abu Dhabi).
During the last few years, LCS has contributed
to the construction of pipelines all over the world,
e.g. at the Tamazunchale gas pipeline in Mexico,
where a 70° steep rock face was overcome with
the help of a crane system of LCS.
LCS was also involved in the construction of the
Zawtika onshore pipeline in Myanmar, delivering several
cable crane systems as well as taking over the full
construction service on critical sections of the pipeline
route. Among others, LCS is currently collaborating in
the construction of the Peruvian pipeline Gasoducto Sur
Peruano.
Padding in inaccessible
areas is done with the help
of transport buckets.
Pipes and all kind of material and equipment can be
transported into steep slopes.
