aintaining pipeline integrity and throughput
is key for any pipeline operator. This means
they need the most accurate inspection data
possible with the least amount of disruption
to their pipeline flow. Inline inspection (ILI), or smart
pigging, has allowed pipeline operators to obtain data
regarding the condition of their assets for decades, but
the quality of that data has been limited by the available
technology at the time. As the demand for quality
inspection services around the world increases due to new
regulations, paradigm shifts in operating methodology,
and an ageing infrastructure under increasing strain, the
