CCC has participated in the construction of some
of the most complex oil and gas pipelines in the Middle
East, Azerbaijan, Mozambique, South Africa, Madagascar,
Botswana, Thailand and Australia.
The scope covered by CCC includes complete plant
construction including all mechanical, civil, electrical,
instrumentation and pre-commissioning works in
petrochemical, refineries, oil and gas related projects,
industrial plants, loading and off-loading terminals.
Working within the pipeline division is a
sizeable team of engineers specialised in the
construction of pipelines and associated surface
facilities. These facilities include pumping or
booster stations, metering stations, launching and
receiving stations, valve stations, monitoring and
automated control, cathodic protection, testing
and commissioning, and maintenance.
The pipeline projects executed involved
several pipeline diameters ranging from
10 - 56 in., steel and non-steel pipelines, various
types of coating and joint coating, different types
of soil strata, terrain, and topographic details, different
types of climate and weather conditions and multiple
welding technologies.
Ongoing oil and gas pipeline projects:

Kuwait Lower Fars Heavy Oil Development: EPC of
400 km of main pipelines connecting the new plant in
North Kuwait with the existing facilities in the south,
and EPC of the Production Support Complex.

Thailand Fourth Transmission Pipeline Project,
completion of works: EPC of 42 in. x 298 km gas
pipeline, including open cuts, 62 bored crossings, 27
HDDs, 18 block valve stations and two facilities.
Recently completed oil and gas pipeline projects:

APLNG Pipelines Australia: EPC of 667 km (18 - 42 in.)
of coal seam gas pipelines in Queensland, including
four valve stations, 13 scraper stations and various
facilities for each pipeline. The pipeline network and
transmission lines deliver approximately 1500 TJ/d of
CSG from the gas fields in the Surat and Bowen Basin
in Central Queensland to the ConocoPhillips-operated
LNG plant at Laird Point, Curtis Island near Gladstone,
Australia.
