I
t is abundant around the world, affordable, extremely versatile and
cleaner than alternatives as a fuel for global power generation.
The transportation industry has also started using ‘cleaner’ natural
gas to power the vehicles moving people and materials from place
to place. Many fleets are switching from diesel or gasoline to compressed
natural gas (CNG), liquefied propane gas (LPG) or liquefied natural gas (LNG)
in order to reduce the emissions from burning these fuels.
The US Environmental Protection Agency calculated the potential
benefits of LNG versus diesel-based fuel on the inherently cleaner-burning
