sector into account.
Manufacturers have to adapt their product
ranges to meet the requirements of their
customers. The mobile harbour crane sector
is also driven by innovation. New
technologies are introduced to the market in
frequent intervals. Liebherr Maritime Cranes
is a pioneer in the development of new
maritime innovations.
The 2014 fiscal year was great for
Liebherr’s maritime division, achieving a
historical record in the mobile harbour
crane department with 112 units supplied
across the globe. Moreover, the
introduction of new products, such as the
new LHM 800 mobile harbour crane, and
technologies set the course for future
growth.
Liebherr’s most important maritime
technology launched last year was the
intelligent grabbing system SmartGrip.
This technology optimises grab filling rates
