ATP assists operators of all levels of experience in handling
varying ground conditions. The electronic control unit shows
the lifted load and overhang in the control dashboard display.
In addition, it is equipped with a limit switch for both the lift
boom and anti-two block. The system monitors the machine
tilting and warns the operator of dangerous gradients. Another
optional safety feature is the roll-over and fall-over protection
(ROPS/FOPS), designed to allow the operator a clear view on
the top of the boom and the load.
Comfortable working environment
The state-of-the-art cabin provides a comfortable working
environment for the operator. With only two joysticks, the
operator can handle both winches, increase or decrease the
engine throttle and control the machine’s travel. Two additional
transmission pilot levers assists the operator in making
precise manoeuvres, such as turning on a steep hill or moving
accurately to couple the pipes. The LCD display shows relevant
information in an easy-to-read graphical interface and can be
adjusted for day or night viewing.
SUPERIOR pipelayers are used all over the world, including
deep in the South American jungle, Russia, Australia and
Europe. Whether buying or renting an SPX-series pipelayer, the
customer gets operator training on request. The training focuses
on safe and productive operation and minimises costs through
proper service and maintenance.
Worldwide Group also offers a wide ranging fleet of other
pipeline and earthmoving equipment, which includes padding
machines, welder and flatbed tractors, bending machines,
vacuum lifts, dozers, excavators and scrapers.
